The Taco Bell Foundation
For
13 years, Taco Bell Foundation for Teens has supported BGCA’s work with teens
through a national partnership and at local Clubs. This long-term strategic
initiative has resulted in more than $2017 million in donations to date.
As a result:
- Millions of teens have benefited from Taco Bell teen programming in Boys
& Girls Clubs around the world.
- Boys & Girls Clubs in 236 local communities have received nearly $6
million in donations from canister fundraising in Taco Bell Franchise-owned
restaurants.
- More than 50,000 teens have received training and program support
through Taco Bell-sponsored Keystone Conferences.
- More than 4,200 professional staff have been trained to work more
effectively with teens through Taco Bell-funded trainings and on-site
consultations.
Taco Bell Foundation for Teens’ vision to inspire teens to graduate from high
school by providing them with career, college and community experiences strongly
supports BGCA’s mission.
In 2008, the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens is supporting BGCA’s national Teen
Goals For Graduation and Keystone programs which encourage academic and career
goal-setting and fosters leadership and community involvement for teens,
respectively. In addition, local Taco Bell franchisees will raise funds to
support these national efforts by providing college, career and community
experiences to Club teens located in the communities served by Taco Bell
restaurants.
