Best Buy
Best Buy Children's Foundation, a longtime supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs,
joined forces in 2007 with Microsoft and Boys & Girls Clubs of America to equip
millions of America's youth with vital skills and experiences to successfully
compete academically through Club Tech. Club Tech, a national program created by
Boys & Girls Club of America and Microsoft, makes technology, software and
training accessible in Clubs and provides Club staff and members with the skills
needed for the 21st century workforce.
Club Tech teaches youth essential digital literacy skills through fun,
interactive programs. Club members are encouraged to apply these skills to
create original digital media such as Web sites, music, movies and photography
as part of Club Tech's Digital Arts Festivals which are held annually. Thanks to
Best Buy Children's Foundation and Microsoft, Club members learn how to use
computer technology in everyday life to develop new social and economic
opportunities for themselves, their families and communities. The Club Tech
program has advanced computer skills for many of our Club members. This is
especially true at the
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holyoke, Mass. [Use

Best Buy continues to support BGCA in other ways as well
– hundreds of Best Buy employees volunteer each year
to mentor Club members, serve on advisory boards and improve the Club
facilities. « BACK TO PARTNERS MAIN PAGE
